Bengali/Vernacular name: Barotera.

Description of the plant: A tall rhizomatous herb. Leaf oblong or long elliptic, base attenuate, apex caudate. The lovely white flowers appear in dense clusters from compact inflorescences at ground level. Labellum white, yellow on each side of midvein, red striate at base, ovate, apex slightly revolute, entire. Capsule purple-green, ovoid.
