English name: Sticky lindernia.

Description of the Plant: A small annual herb. Stem sparsely to densely hispid with spreading long hairs, laxly branched, erect or ascending. Leaves sessile or shortly petiolate, ovate to suborbicular, pinnately nerved, apex obtuse to rounded, base truncate, margin crenate-dentate. Flowers in lax racemes, born at the ends of branches, white or pink with or without a yellow throat. Capsules globes; seeds ellipsoid to oblong.

Plant parts Used: Leaf, whole plant.

Traditional Uses: Paste prepared from leaves of the plant is applied to treat boils.
Plant paste is applied for the treatment of ringworm, and itches.

Distribution: This plant is found in Dhaka, Khulna, Noakhali, and Mymensingh districts.
