Description of the plant: A decumbent, wooly, annual herb, stem very many from the root. Leaves small, spathulate, sessile. Inflorescence a capitulum, heterogamous, minute, in rounded, axillary clusters, wooly tomentose, involucres narrow. Outer florets many-seriate, female. Disc-florets few, bisexual. Corolla of outer florets tubular, yellow. Fruit a cypsela, minutely papillose, pappus hairs slender.
Plant parts used: Whole plant.
Medicinal uses: Paste prepared from the plant is applied on the affected area to treat skin disease.
Paste made from the plant is applied as poultice to heal fractured bones.
Distribution: It is found in the southwestern regions of the country.
